What the Same Mixer Part Is Called
Mixer terminology shifts between countries, brands and even between the sales and maintenance sides of the same company. Check your term against this list before ordering:
| You may call it | We call it | Also known as |
|---|---|---|
| Wear plate | Liner plate | Mixing liner, wear liner, back liner, side liner |
| Mixing blade | Mixer paddle | Blade tip, arm tip, paddle blade |
| Mixing arm | Arm assembly | Shaft arm, paddle arm, mixing arm holder |
| Shaft seal | Shaft end seal | Shaft packing, gland seal, oil seal |
| Discharge gate | Mixer discharge door | Outlet gate, discharge door, bottom gate |
| Gearbox | Reducer | Drive unit, mixing gearbox, planetary reducer |
How to Identify Which Mixer Part You Need
Mixer wear parts are model-specific, so the first question is always which mixer. Four things settle it:
- The mixer model. JS500, JS750, JS1000, JS1500, JS2000 or JS3000 — on the nameplate, or cast into the frame. This is the single most important detail.
- Blade and liner count. Count the arms and the liner plates on one side. A JS1000 and a JS1500 can look similar but take different plates.
- Bolt hole spacing on the liner plate. Measure hole centre to hole centre — this is what stops a plate from seating.
- A photograph of the worn part beside a tape measure. Send it on WhatsApp; we will match it to the model and quote the same day.
Wear parts are the highest-frequency purchase on any batching plant — blades and liners are consumed continuously, not replaced once. That is why we quote them as a set: a full set of blades and liners matched to your mixer model, rather than one plate at a time.
Mixer Parts FAQ
How long do mixer liner plates last?
Typically 6–12 months depending on aggregate hardness and production volume. High-chromium alloy liners offer the longest service life.
Do you sell parts for planetary mixers too?
Yes, we supply wear parts for both twin-shaft and planetary mixers. Contact us with your mixer brand and model.
Can you match parts by OEM number?
Yes. Provide the OEM part number or a sample, and we will match or manufacture the equivalent with same dimensions and material.
